Request for Interest Form

RFI Form

The Bay Area Biosolids to Energy (BAB2E) Coalition is issuing this ongoing Request for Interest (RFI) to determine if there are interested parties capable of participating in BAB2E project solicitations or demonstration projects. The Coalition has conducted processes to pre-qualify contractors to participate in RFP processes to develop Biosolids-to-Energy Facilities, which can include one regional facility or multiple sub-regional facilities directly benefitting San Francisco Bay Area communities, the environment, and our economy. The Coalition is interested in identifying alternative and innovative conversion technologies that can exploit the energy embedded in biosolids to generate renewable energy, such as electricity, transportation fuels, biomethane, or other energy products. Some technologies that the Coalition has considered include gasification, pyrolysis, super-critical wet oxidation, and steam reformation. Incineration processes will not be considered for this project. Prior to filling out this assessment form, proposers should familiarize themselves with the BAB2E goals.

Submission Process
